What an eventful weekend it has been. Three matches played and we proved to be a worthy opponent.
Southland vs Livingstone Youth FA
The weekend started with Livingstone women going against the Southland ladies in a premiere league game held at Linda South Primary School. After fighting to the finish, we succeeded in bringing back a 0 – 7 win. Goals were scored by Audrey Mutale, Penelope Lubelenga, Mary Mulanda (2), Getrude Chanda and Scholastica Kasale (2). It was indeed a wonderful way to begin.

Livingstone Youth FA U20 vs J Sport
Encouraged by the ladies performance we went on to another game. Livingstone Youth FA U20 against the J Sport in a Top 8 LIDAFA league. J Sport started the game quiet well and was leading with a 0 – 1 for the first 40′. But despite their good start Livingstone Youth player Edgar Milinga did us proud by scoring and lessening the pressure with a 1 – 1 draw at 42′ before half time. After the 90′ game, we also had penalties, Livingstone with 7 and J Sport with 6. Another game finished well.

Eastland vs Livingstone Youth FA (Division One)
The last game but not the least important was the Eastland vs Livingstone Youth FA (Division One). The 90′ game ended with a 0 – 1 score, with Livingstone being 1. This score was courtesy of Eastlands own player Morgan Kamanga who scored the Eastland goal resulting in an own goal for Eastland.

All in all this weekend proved to be a success and we hope to have more successful weekends to come.
