The academy had some league matches played over the just ended weekend with action coming in from the Under-15 girls league and the mens team in Southern Division II.

The girls team had a rocky game against  4-ways Nakatindi on Saturdday. The girls played a good game that was not short of thrilling moments and great highlights. The game ended goal-less when the final whistle blew. Both teams had to share the spoils and walk away with 1 point.

The senior team was playing against NAPSA-LINDA in a Livingstone Derby bout that brought a massive crowd to the venue. The LYFA boys were hungry for more points despite their already winning the league. It was a close game which saw both teams coming close to scoring a goal. The only goal of the game was scored in the 74′ minute of the game with LYFA taking away the three points.

LYFA have one last game to end the league Division II league which they are leaders of. The league ends this coming Sunday.

The LYFA girls are still in the first round of the league and still have several matches to go before their league comes to an end.
