After 3 months of training and educating peers in other football academies, it is finally time for the tournament that sums up the outcome of all the efforts.
The event will be held at Gums Hills School in Libuyu, a densely populated area with many potential beneficiaries. A total of 8 teams from around Livingstone will take part in the tournament some of which are competing in both Girls and Boys categories.
The tournament comes after an intense 12 weeks of sexual health training through football drills designed by Tackle Africa. Through football, young people are educated about their sexual health and empowered with the knowledge to make safe and informed decisions.
The tournament will serve as a medium through which non-footballers can also be reached and empowered.
As part of the whole event, pitch side counselling and screening will be offered to players as well as the community at large attending the event.
