After a disappointing defeat to Young Pirates in the last league game, LYFA came into the match looking to prove their worth in the league.
The game started on a high note with the LYFA boys turning up the pressure on the visiting side. The LYFA lads came close to scoring just 4 minutes into the game when a superbly built up play led up to a headed chance which was parried by the determined NAPSA keeper.
The game pressed on and 7 minutes later, the visiting side came close to opening the scoring but the keeper rushed in and intercepted the deadly cross that would have been an easy tap in goal.
LYFA was able to open the scoring 34 minutes into the match through Andrew Kasaila. NAPSA fought on for an equaliser but to no avail. The full time score was 1-0 in favor of LYFA.
